On Tuesday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that he doesn’t know who CM Punk will end up fighting when he returns to the octagon.
“As far as who [CM Punk] is gonna fight, I don’t know, I haven’t heard.”
He also talked about the ongoing lawsuit between Punk and WWE doctor Chris Amann:
“They’re arguing over bills. CM Punk asked for all these records and emails [from]Paul Levesque [Triple H] and Vince [McMahon] to find out what they were really saying about him and the injury and things like that, and [WWE] claimed that it would cost $240,000 or something like that, and the judged ruled that he and WWE had to split costs which means that it’s gonna cost CM Punk $120,000. So he wasn’t happy about that. He thought that it should only cost him $40,000. But the suit is ongoing, and it’s nowhere close to settling.”
