HGTV star Joanna Gaines revealed her latest culinary tome is cooking — and fans are already champing at the bit to get their hands on the book.
“After months of developing and finalizing recipes, we are excited to start shooting Volume Two of our cookbook!” Gaines, 41, announced Monday on Instagram with a series of adorable photos holding her youngest son Crew, who’s 11 months old. “Gonna have to talk with this little one’s agent about his on-set behavior.”
The “Fixer Upper” sensation and mother of five amassed a dedicated following of devotees after the release of her first cookbook “Magnolia Table: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering” in 2018.
After sharing the latest news, her admirers were quick to flood her post with thousands of gushing comments and likes.
“Omg so excited!!!,” commented Insta user @sienna.clary. “IS THIS REAL LIFE,” @gretchendott chimed in.
Others expressed their admiration for Gaines’ knack for providing a glimpse into her personal life.
“Thanks for always sharing the REAL & Behind-the-Scenes stuff! I’m guessing I’m not alone when I say the polished ANNNND imperfect moments are my FAVE!!!! Keeping it real! ❤️,” wrote fan @shannavineyard.
By Tuesday afternoon, the post had already racked up over 382,000 likes and 2,400 comments.

Despite Gaines’ first book’s wide critical acclaim and Goodreads Choice Awards nomination for Best Food & Cookbooks, the reality star admitted to People magazine that coming out with a book of recipes was never something she saw herself doing.
“I never set out to get the opportunity to share my recipes with the world,” she said. “That was never something that I put down as a dream.”
She even dished about how the first time she cooked for her fellow “Fixer Upper” star and husband Chip Gaines, he pooh poohed her spaghetti.
“That first time that I cooked dinner for Chip and he really ticked me off, that set me back a little bit but then eventually I got over it and was like, ‘Hey, I mean I gotta try my hand at this,’ ” she says. “So I think that’s why I have such a heart for it is that I really feel like this isn’t something that you have to be amazing at. It’s just the idea of getting after it, trying it, being okay with failing, but then there’s so much more reward.”
Though the home renovations couple — who were recently handed their own Discovery network — have some fans salivating over their every move, not everyone knows who they are.
“We were so excited to meet Martha Stewart, but she didn’t have the faintest idea who we are, not a single clue,” Chip told Page Six about meeting the lifestyle mogul at Time’s 100 Most Powerful People in the World Gala. But we don’t mind at all, Joanna was so excited to meet Martha and so we asked someone to introduce us.”
