Beth Phoenix Returning to WWE, Enzo Update, WWE Removes Content

Beth Phoenix wrestled for WWE for several years before she left the company and retired from the ring. Phoenix left the company on incredibly good terms, and she was even inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. Beth Phoenix still appears for WWE occasionally as an ambassador, and it looks like Phoenix will be returning to WWE programming very soon. WWE has officially announced that Phoenix will be joining the commentary team for the upcoming Mixed Match Challenge show on Facebook Watch. Beth will be joined by Michael Cole and Corey Graves at the announce desk, and the show will be hosted by Byron Saxton and Renee Young.
Enzo Amore had been scheduled to defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Cedric Alexander on Raw last night, but those plans changed as soon as it was discovered that Enzo Amore had been hospitalized. Enzo had been dealing with the flu, and he was kept off of last night’s edition of Raw as a precautionary measure. PWInsider has revealed that Enzo apparently checked out of the hospital earlier that day and arrived at the arena. He then begged WWE officials to allow him to compete on the show, but he was told to go back to his hotel. Enzo will likely be back on television next week to defend his title against Alexander.
WWE has been adding tons of content to the WWE Network ever since it was first launched, and the company has worked on keeping the network fresh with new shows and ideas ever since. Unfortunately, WWE has actually decided to take some programming off of the WWE Network. It has been reported by fans that the ‘Gravest Matches Ever’, ‘The Cruiserweight Anthology’, and the ‘Randy Orton: Apex Predator’ Collections have all been removed from the Collections section on the network. There is currently no word as to why these sets of matches have been taken down, however, removal of programming is usually either done due to a technical error or because of unpopularity.
